I am so excited about the launch of our site. Even though it isn’t quite complete, I couldn’t resist getting it out there and sharing it.
One of the things that I really enjoyed about the site, was being on the “client” side of things. It was sort of like a principal going back into the classroom so that they can remember what it was like to be a teacher. That reminder of what it’s like to be teaching and all that goes into it helps them lead their school more effectively.
The same was true for me as I worked on the site. What issues do clients run into? What causes them to be indecisive about what they want from their site? What matters to them? How can you create a functional site without sacrificing style?
There is a whole process that the client goes through, and as a designer, I can best assist them if I understand that process.
Please feel free to let us know what you think of our site. Is there something glaring that it missing? Something you’d like to see? Tell us.
